Inland Fuerteventura hides a park that combines a zoo, a botanical garden and Europe's largest camel reserve on a single site. Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura works on any day of your trip, with or without kids, and easily fills a full morning or afternoon without needing to book a fixed time slot.
The park is home to over 3,000 animals from 250 different species, spread across several themed areas and the only botanical garden on the whole island. It's one of the few full day plans in Fuerteventura with plenty of shaded stretches, which comes in handy when the midday sun gets too strong and you want to switch between nature and shade.
On show days the park runs live displays with reptiles, parrots, sea lions and birds of prey, usually the part kids remember most from the whole visit. Outside those time slots, you explore the park's different areas at your own pace, with the chance to get a photo next to a giraffe or take a close look at a Madagascar lemur, one of the park's most curious residents.
Oasis Wildlife is home to Europe's largest camel reserve, and riding through it is an optional add-on to the entrance ticket. It's what sets this park apart from other zoos on the islands, and the activity most worth booking ahead if you're travelling in high season.
The park opens from 10am to 5pm. If you book the option with transfer included, pickup is at 8:50am in Caleta de Fuste and 9:45am in Corralejo, with a 7 hour activity day (10:30am to 5:30pm) that covers the round trip. If you're staying elsewhere on the island, the park is also easy to visit on your own by rental car.
Booking is confirmed instantly and comes with free cancellation up to 24 hours before your visit, so you can lock in a date without risking your money if plans change. The ticket covers park entry, the educational exhibits, access to the botanical garden and the live shows; the camel ride is optional and booked separately. There are three restaurants inside the park, though food and drink aren't included in the ticket price. Canary Islands residents can get a special rate directly at the park's ticket office.
