Berth 8 at Puerto Colón, Costa Adeje; hotel pickup and drop-off available
Catamaran adapted for foldable wheelchairs
Set sail from berth 8 at Puerto Colón, in Costa Adeje, aboard an eco-friendly catamaran fitted with low-consumption engines and designed to reduce its carbon footprint — when the wind allows, it sails engine-free. After a short safety briefing you'll head for the Teno-Rasca whale sanctuary, one of Europe's best areas for spotting cetaceans.
Look out for pilot whales, dolphins and turtles in their natural habitat while the crew narrates what you're seeing and the underwater sound system plays the sounds of the ocean on deck. Sightings are guaranteed: if the cetaceans don't show up, you can repeat the trip for free, subject to availability. On the 3-hour tour, sandwiches and drinks (beer, water and soft drinks) are served, and there's a stop to swim and snorkel in a crystal-clear cove.
If you choose the extended 5-hour option, you'll also sail to the towering Los Gigantes cliffs and the exclusive bay of Masca beach, with lunch on board (chicken rice, vegetarian options and wine included). The catamaran is accessible for foldable wheelchairs and offers hotel pickup and drop-off.
