Discover everything the Isla Bonita has to offer on a full-day guided tour that loops around La Palma, climbing the western side of the island and returning down the east.
Meet your group early at one of the pickup points and head to Tajuya square, the improvised viewpoint from which half the world followed the Cumbre Vieja eruption. Continue to El Time, a spectacular viewpoint 594 metres above sea level with an unbeatable panorama of the Aridane Valley and the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.
Visit the Puntagorda farmers' market, the weekly meeting place for local farmers, artisans and bakers, before climbing a winding road to the natural balcony of Roque de los Muchachos: at your feet, the Caldera de Taburiente; on the horizon, the silhouettes of El Hierro, La Gomera and Tenerife on clear days.
Returning down the east side, take in the Las Angustias ravine from the Los Andenes viewpoint, visit the Royal Shrine of Our Lady of Las Nieves — the island's patron saint — and say goodbye with views of Santa Cruz de La Palma and the east coast from the La Concepción viewpoint.
It is advisable to bring some food and water for the trip. The tour climbs the western side of the island and descends the eastern side. It is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility; folding wheelchairs can be taken on the bus if requested in advance. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen and a camera.
