Explore the Caldera de Taburiente National Park on a guided hiking tour with bus pickup and return from several points on the island. Admire this park spanning an erosion crater 8 kilometres wide and 1,800 metres deep.
Board a comfortable air-conditioned bus and travel to the Los Llanos de Aridane bus station; from there, an off-road bus takes you up to the Los Brecitos viewpoint, where the hike begins with panoramic mountain views.
Make your way through rocky vegetation beneath cedars and Canary pines along the PR LP 13 trail and discover the lush heart of the national park. Cross wooden bridges over streams and pause to cool off at Taburiente beach before continuing to the Cascada de Colores, its waters tinted in vivid tones by minerals.
Finally, descend through the Las Angustias ravine between volcanic formations back to the Los Llanos de Aridane bus station, from where you'll return by bus to the meeting point.
Not suitable for pregnant women or people with mobility issues. Due to weather conditions, the route may change from the Las Angustias ravine to the Los Brecitos viewpoint, where after a short climb the bus picks the group up to return to Los Llanos de Aridane. Bring comfortable shoes, a cap, a jacket, sunscreen, and food and drinks.
