Discover the natural beauty, ancient forests and fascinating traditions of La Gomera on a full-day guided tour from Tenerife, including ferry tickets, coach transport and a traditional Canarian lunch.
Your adventure begins at Los Cristianos Port in southern Tenerife, where you board the ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island's charming capital. Once in La Gomera, travel by comfortable coach towards the beautiful Hermigua valley, surrounded by dramatic mountains and lush vegetation.
Continue through La Palmita towards Agulo, one of La Gomera's most picturesque villages. Here, enjoy a typical Canarian lunch at a local restaurant and experience a live demonstration of the famous Silbo Gomero, the island's extraordinary whistled language, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After lunch, journey into the heart of La Gomera and discover Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Canary Islands' greatest natural treasures. Explore the surroundings of La Laguna Grande and admire the ancient laurel forest, a fascinating subtropical ecosystem that has survived for millions of years.
The tour continues with a stop at the impressive Roque de Agando, one of La Gomera's most iconic volcanic rock formations. Back in San Sebastián, enjoy free time to discover the historic capital at your own pace, with landmarks connected to Christopher Columbus such as the Torre del Conde, the Casa de Colón and the Church of La Asunción, before boarding the ferry back to Tenerife.
A valid identity document is required for the ferry crossing; passengers without the required documentation may be denied boarding.
English and Spanish are available every day. From the south: French on Mondays and Thursdays; German on Wednesdays and Fridays; Russian on Tuesdays. From Puerto de la Cruz: French on Thursdays and German on Wednesdays.
